• Travel Arrangements │ If you haven’t already, please make your travel arrangements for commencement weekend in May.

September-October

• Fall Family Weekend │ Plan to attend this weekend filled with events that are fun for the whole family. Enjoy a Pirates football game, tailgate, University Update Meeting, Freeboot Friday and more!

January-February

• Buy a Brick │ Honor your student with a personalized brick to be placed outside of the Cupola. Read more information at https://parents.ecu.edu/cupola-bricks/
• Graduation Registration │ Your student needs to register with the University. They can do this on their PiratePort.
• Grad Expo │ Encourage your student to attend the Grad Expo at Dowdy Student Stores. This is where they will get information about their Cap and Gown, the East Carolina Alumni Association, and more!
• Class Ring │ Consider purchasing your student a class ring. You can shop for an ECU official class ring at https://ecu.bncollege.com/
• Career Services Spring Fairs

March-April

• Senior Class Campaign

May

• Senior Celebration │ Held the day before university commencement, plan to celebrate your student’s accomplishments. An opportunity for cap and gown pictures with PeeDee and a champagne toast included.
• Commencement │ Make sure you review the University’s Commencement website for information about the official Commencement service and smaller departmental recognition ceremonies – https://commencement.ecu.edu/
