41st Annual Pigskin Pig-Out sponsored by Piggly Wiggly

The Annual Pigskin Pig-Out is a family-oriented festival style event surrounding the Purple-Gold Spring Football Game hosted by ECU Athletics. Additional details will be shared once the full schedule of events is announced. For more information, visit the ECU Athletics website.

Brunch with the Family 

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
West End Dining Hall or Todd Dining Hall

Families are invited to join their students and treat yourselves to an upscale brunch on campus! No pre-registration necessary. Brunch is $10.50 for visitors or students can use their guest meal swipes.

Paint with Your Pirate

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

As part of ECU’s Spring Family Fest festivities, the “Paint with Your Pirate” event brings together ECU students and their families for a creative morning of painting. Hosted in collaboration with Wine & Design Greenville, this event offers participants the opportunity to bond over art while creating their very own ECU-themed masterpiece.

Families will be guided step-by-step by experienced professional instructors from Wine & Design, ensuring that everyone, regardless of skill level, can enjoy the process and walk away with a beautiful piece of artwork.

ECU Pirates Softball Game

Max Joyner Family Stadium

Join Pirate Nation in cheering on the ECU Softball Team as they play South Florida! Admission is free to this event. No prior ticket purchases necessary.

Spring Family Fest Service Project

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM 

Families have the opportunity to live out ECU’s motto Servire, ‘To Serve,’ by participating in the Spring Family Fest Service Project! We are accepting donations to the ECU Williams-Ross Purple Pantry at our Spring Family Fest Tailgate. Purple Pantry’s mission is to decrease food insecurity among the students of East Carolina University and increase access to other personal care items.

Attendees can bring items to the check-in table at the Spring Family Fest Tailgate. The Purple Pantry’s most needed items are breakfast items (individual cups of cereal, breakfast bars, oatmeal cups, etc.) and snack items.

Can’t make it but would like to contribute? You can make a donation to the Purple Pantry on their Amazon Wishlist!

Johnson Stadium (Soccer & Lacrosse Stadium)

$20 per ticket (order charges apply) | Deadline to purchase tickets has passed

Join the Office of Parent and Family Programs for a fun spring event! Enjoy food, cash bar for beer and wine, giveaways, yard games, music, and fun! Located at the Max Joyner Family Stadium, close walking distance to the ECU Pirate Baseball game.

Tickets are required for entry. Students require a ticket. This event will occur rain or shine. No refunds will be offered. Deadline to purchase tickets is Thursday, April 2.

ECU Pirates Baseball Game

Clark-LeClair Stadium, Williams Jungle (Baseball Stadium)
$6 per ticket (order charges apply) | Limited Quantity Available in Block

Join Pirate Nation in cheering on the ECU Baseball Team as they play Wichita State! Tickets are $6 and seats are located in the Jungle. The Jungle is grass seating. Chairs and blankets are allowed. Anything that will obstruct other’s view is not allowed – tents, umbrellas, etc. Game attendees in the Jungle have access to the main concessions area.

Please note that all concourse seating is sold out through season ticket sales. To inquire about wheelchair accessible seating or if accommodations are needed, please call the Athletics Ticket Office at 252-737-4500.

Student tickets are free and can be picked up at the ticket kiosk upon arrival to the game. Students are required to show their ECU 1Card to receive their free ticket. The ticket kiosk is located between gates 2 and 3 of Clark-LeClair stadium and will open 2 hours prior to the game.

Parking

Free

General parking for the Spring Family Fest Tailgate and the ECU Baseball Game can be found at the Carol Belk Building, located on Charles Blvd. across the street from ECU’s track and field facility. Parking in this lot is free.

Handicap parking is located at Towne Bank Tower. This parking is also free. You must have a state issued, valid handicap tag to park in this area. ECU Athletics will provide a golf cart shuttle service to the ECU baseball game and the Spring Family Fest Tailgate.
