Proud Pirate Parent

A Proud Pirate Parent is any ECU student’s primary resource and support. Mother, father, grandparent, sibling, partner, friend or primary guardians who are a consistent source of support directly related to a student’s personal development and academic achievements are welcome here.

ECU recognizes your vital role and promotes your continued involvement by collaborating with you through the Office of Parent and Family Programs to provide you with resources to best help you stay informed and connected to the University, and, of course, to your student.

As an East Carolina University parent, you can help raise awareness about the University daily. There is an opportunity to be an ambassador for the university in your community, at work, with friends and family, just by sharing your student’s experiences with others.
